A salute to the outgoing Chairman of the Board – Lynda
Ruckman
The
2010 Annual Board Meeting marked the conclusion of Lynda Ruckman’s tenure
as chairman of the board of The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay. And what a two
years
it has been! Few would deny that Lynda brought a unique style as chairman,
bringing
an extraordinary degree of passion, energy, a wonderful sense of humor, charm
and
commitment to the role.
The Chorale has achieved a great deal during Lynda’s two years of leadership
including
maintaining artistic excellence, commissioning two new works of music and hiring
an Executive Director and a new Artistic Director. These are challenging
economic
times for all non profit cultural organizations and the board and staff
appreciate
Lynda’s guidance of the Master Chorale’s fiscal health and future. Thank You
Lynda!
